Maintain a smaller shop at first and slowly build it out. The last bit of advice would be not to over-expand too quickly. Save up and buy items in bulk once they are on sale and your inventory is low. You lose out on a bunch of money if you buy anything at a marked up price. Also, I never bought anything that wasn't on sale. Overtime I started having more and more savings and eventually was able to keep all the employees hired at all times. The only time I hired someone would be when the party bus arrived and then I would just get one, usually a mechanic or cashier, whichever job I didn't want to handle. It made for nonstop action in the game but saved me a lot of money. If it's a different loan (been a bit since I played, can't recall if there are others) this may seem counterintuitive, but early on I didn't hire employees. Is this the loan from the uncle/guy that you have like 10min to payoff? If so, that is pretty much impossible to pay off early on and is more story narrative than an actual task. ![]()
